Copyright Concerns
Version 1.0. Effective September 14, 2026.
Pet Legacy Network respects copyright. If you believe content here infringes a copyright you own or are authorized to act for, tell us and we will review it. You can also email support@petlegacynetwork.org.
What happens after you report
| Received | We have your report. |
|---|---|
| Under review | We are looking at the content and your report. |
| Information requested | We need something more from you before we can act. |
| Temporarily restricted | Access to the content is limited while we review. |
| Removed | The content has been taken down. |
| Restored | Content that was restricted or removed has been put back. |
| Closed | The review is finished. |
We keep a history of every status change. Submitting a report does not by itself close anyone's account, and we may limit or end access for repeated infringement.
If your content was reported
If content you posted was restricted or removed and you believe that was a mistake, or that your use was authorized, email us with your reference number, your name, contact information, an explanation, and your typed name as a signature. We will consider your response and may restore the content.
Content that came from a shelter, rescue, or other organization
Some animal photos and descriptions here originate with the organization that has the animal in its care, and are shown with attribution to that source. If you are that organization or its photographer and want content removed, tell us and we will act on your request.
