Meet Salem, a handsome nine-year-old gentleman with a striking solid gray coat and an even softer heart. Salem's world changed overnight when his beloved owner passed away. For years, the two were constant companions, and now he's learning to navigate a life he never expected. Losing both his person and his home is a tremendous adjustment, so while the shelter is keeping him safe, it's not where his true personality shines. Everyone who knew Salem described him as a friendly, loving cat who enjoyed the company of people. Here at the shelter, he's taking things one day at a time.
