Meet Gust! Gust is a very large 4‑year‑old brown tabby with striking white markings — and yes, he really is as big as everyone says. He came to us after his owner could no longer care for him or his 13 siblings, and he has quickly become one of the most talked‑about cats in the entire shelter. With his impressive size, gentle nature, and goofy charm, Gust has a way of winning over even people who swear they’re “not cat people.” After all, how can you resist a cat who’s bigger than a small dog?When Gust first arrived, he was carrying a bit of extra weight, so he’s currently on OM weight‑management food and will need to stay on it until he reaches a healthier size. He doesn’t mind — especially when mealtime comes with praise and pets. Despite his size, Gust is a soft, sweet boy who loves attention and enjoys being near people.
