Meet Emmy
Emmy has spent the last four years waiting for someone to choose her. Four years is far too long for a dog who has so much love to give. And let us tell you—Emmy is THE BEST dog there is! She has a way of looking up at you like you are the most amazing person she has ever seen. She is incredibly loving, gentle, and wonderful with dogs, kids, and cats. She also loves the water and would be thrilled to have a family to share her adventures with. Emmy’s story began four years ago when she and her friend Allie were found at an abandoned house. The two girls were trapped high up on a porch covered in urine and feces, with no way to escape. Thankfully, they were rescued and given the chance at a better life. A few months ago, Allie finally got her happy ending and traveled to Virginia to join her forever family. Now it’s Emmy’s turn. After completing her heartworm treatment, she is healthy,…
