Cosmo Terrier mix Sex: Male Size: 64 lb Status: Available About Cosmo Cosmo's story isn't one he chose. He was originally adopted from another shelter, but somehow found his way to Chilton as a stray. Thankfully, he was microchipped, so we were able to track down his owner. We hoped they had been searching for him. Instead, we were told something we'll never forget: "I know it sounds bad, but I don't really want him back because we already bought another dog to replace him." Our hearts broke for Cosmo. He didn't ask to get lost. He didn't ask to be replaced. And he certainly didn't ask to end up back in a shelter wondering where his family went. The amazing thing about dogs is that they don't hold grudges. Despite everything he's been through, one year old Cosmo is still the same sweet, loving, outgoing boy who just wants someone to love.
