Meet BUDDY

Hi everyone! My name is Buddy, and Iâm a 9-month-old, 79-pound Redbone Coonhound/St. Bernard mix. Yes, you read that right Iâm still a puppy, even though Iâm already a big boy! Some people might call me a gentle giant, and I think thatâs a pretty good description.One of my favorite things in the whole world is meeting people! I have never met a stranger, and Iâm always happy to make new friends. Iâve had the opportunity to meet several groups of volunteers who have come to the shelter to help out, and Iâve been told that Iâm quite the gentleman. I donât jump all over everyone or get wild and crazy. Instead, Iâm usually just a big, happy, wiggly boy who is thrilled to say hello.My early start in life wasnât quite what it should have been, and because of that, I missed out on some of the experiences and lessons that puppies normally get when theyâre growing up.
