Meet Beau! This handsome, labby boy is estimated to be 1–2 years old and weighs a little over 55 pounds. He has come a long way from the scared dog who once hid in the back of his shelter kennel, and now his goofy, happy personality is shining through!Beau is a high-energy, super smart boy who is looking for an active forever home where he can run, play, and continue learning. A secure, fenced-in yard is required for Beau so he has plenty of space to burn off his energy and enjoy being a dog.He is incredibly intelligent and eager to please, making him a great match for someone who enjoys working with their dog and wants to continue his training. Beau has participated in the New Leash on Life prison dog program, where he has been working on important skills like sit, stay, crate training, and leash manners.
