“NO DOGS SHOULD LIVE ON CHAINS.”My name is Thor, and that is what was posted about me when I was rescued from a severe cruelty case back in September. Appearing to have lived on chains my whole life with a huge padlock around my neck, they left me outside to starve and suffer. Thanks to the nurturing, love, and nourishment by a fellow shelter, I have been successfully rehabbed back to health and brought to Pittsburgh to find a fresh start.I am a 2-year old male husky mix. Although I look a little bit like a husky, I don’t act much like one. You won’t find me acting up after finally getting a chance to experience the warmth and comfort of the great indoors!I love to cuddle and be close to my people. Every warm embrace helps to dissolve rugged pieces of my traumatic past. My loving gaze into your eyes will leave you wondering how anyone could have ever treated me the way that they did.…
