Meet Pete (AL)
Pete (AL), possibly a Jack Russell Terrier mix, is just two months old, but he’s already lived through more than any puppy ever should. Found limping alone on the side of the road — scared, hurting, and trying his best to keep going — this tiny boy still greeted rescuers with the kind of soft, hopeful sweetness that stops you in your tracks. His funky little speckled nose twitches when he’s curious, and his whole face lights up when someone shows him kindness. He’s now getting every bit of medical care he needs, and even with all he’s been through, Pete’s spirit is unshaken. He’s spunky, handsome, gentle with people, and wonderfully friendly with other dogs.
