Meet LUCY aka LULA

Meet Lucy, a 2-year-old petite basset hound who is happy, healthy, active, adorable and almost suspiciously perfect. Lucy is the kind of dog who is ready to grab her leash, hop in the car and ask, “Where are we going today?” She loves adventures, travels beautifully, walks nicely on a leash, is crate trained AND house trained. She loves other dogs, is fine with cats and can happily play with canine friends for hours! Sounds perfect, right? ...Until somebody brings out the groceries. Lucy has significant food aggression. And while we can joke about Lucy believing every meal is her last supper, this part of her story is something we take very seriously. Lucy is doing extremely well with training and has made wonderful progress. But training isn't a magic wand. Her adopter will need to understand her triggers, continue what she has learned and be committed to consistent management and…
