Meet Eris
Hi! My name is Eris. I am a beautiful young girl who was found as a stray in Westchester County. A kind volunteer rescued me and brought me to MHAA to find my forever home! I am so sweet and can be a bit shy at first, but I warm up quickly. Unlike many cats, I prefer it when you pet and scratch my back half instead of my head - I roll around in my cat bed and I am so happy! Once you meet me, you will fall in love. I am positive for FIV, and the staff can give you more information about that. I get along well with other cats, and can live with cats who do not have FIV as long as they also get along with others. You can come meet me anytime Wednesday through Monday between 12-4pm, no appointment needed (Tuesdays we are open by appointment only).
